THE PRIORITIES OF THE MINSTRY OFFICES
Acts 6:4
4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
A strong Christian life is built on the foundations of two ministries. The two foundational ministries are the ministries of the word and the ministries of prayer. These two ministries form the platforms through which a solid and progressive Christianity is built. Any believer that wants to go far with God and in the things of God must embrace these two ministries passionately and seriously. It is your attitude to these ministries that will determine your altitude in life and in the kingdom of God.
The two major ministries are:
A. Ministry of the word: every believer must study the word of God to the point that he will be able to divide the word correctly. People in ministry offices have the responsibility of supplying understanding of God to the people to boost their understanding.
B. Ministry of prayer: prayer must become part and parcel of a believer’s itinerary. This will heighten the sensitivity of a believer as he fellowships with the Holy Spirit. Prayers must be according to the word of God.
